House Bill 5552: An Act Concerning Withdrawal of a Student from School by a Parent

Summary:
This bill would have provided that a child may be withdrawn from public school by a parent or guardian by giving any type of notice to school officials. While we believe it is unwise for a parent to withdraw a child without providing written notification, this bill was supported.
