This bill would raise the age for compulsory attendance from 16 to 18.

HSLDA's Position:
Opposed. This bill is bad for homeschoolers because it takes away two years of freedom. It is bad for students who want to learn because it forces disruptive students to attend class against their will. It is bad for taxpayers because it increases school budgets.
